Hello and welcome to Starr CPR!
I am an HSI (Health and Safety Institute (Formerly OSHI)) certified Basic Life Support CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor. I also provide Prevention Education as well. Starr CPR services the Fort Bragg, Mendocino Coast area, Mendocino County, and now serving New Mexico in the Rio Rancho and Albuquerque area. I love to travel, lets set up something in your area too!
I offer training CPR and First Aid training for The worker/Care Provider, Basic Life Support(BLS) needs, as well as those who want the education, but don’t want or need the certificate.

I now offer small event medic services for the support of the guests at your event. The goal is to keep your guests there, happy, and safe. With my extensive experience, you can feel confident that your party, destination wedding, night hike, mini festival, etc, is in good hands.
Classes can be taught in two different formats: In-Person or Blended(online/in-person). I also provide education with or without a certificate.
A little bit about me.
Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and spent many of my years doing outdoor sports, cross country and track and field. After high school, I went to college in Hastings, Nebraska where I got my BA in Communications-Broadcast Production. After College, I found more interest in being outdoors and spending time using my hands and brain to work. After moving to Phoenix, Arizona, learning the amazing sport of Ultimate Frisbee, and spending six years in the sun, I made my next move to the Mendocino, California Coast.
I am now a volunteer firefighter with eight+ years experience. I also spend time on the ambulance here locally. I currently work as an Emergency Department Tech in the ER at Fort Bragg hospital, Adventist Health Mendocino Coast. Event medic for small and large affairs.

I am passionate about educating our community on helping one another BEFORE 911 gets there. Speak to your employer and co-workers, family, friends, and more about getting certified. Please know that YOU could be the difference in saving someones life.

“When our training ended, I felt I could be effective in helping people in a CPR situation.”
